Specializations
I see people from various ethnic and social backgrounds and sexual orientations. I work with children and families, couples (both married and unmarried), and individuals. Over the years I have treated many children exhibiting disruptive behavior in the classroom. In treating children, I find it is vital to bring their parents into the process. I see persons who suffer from depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief and loss. My theoretical background is eclectic, although I employ the use of EMDR, family systems work, and attachment theory. I see clients for short-term as well as long-term therapy depending on their needs. Additionally, I value working with women in stage of life transitions, along with helping them unearth their true voice. My practice is in San Francisco.
